Boxes are delightful little things. They can hold something precious, yet are a lovely gift in their own right. There are so many design possibilities in a small box. Here are a few examples.

Chessboards
Custom-made chess boards are available to your required size. The standard playing area is 20 inches square, but if you need something different, that can easily be accommodated. Wood selection is tailored to suit your preferences. The board shown here features fumed chestnut and sycamore playing squares, with a walnut back.
We can also create a complementary box to store your cherished chess pieces. The only crucial detail: we don’t make chess pieces themselves.
Prices for chess boards range from £200 to £400, depending on design complexity and wood choice. The box pictured here features a divided, lined interior to protect and separate the pieces. It’s finished with high-quality Brusso brass hinges and a clasp, adding an extra touch of refinement.
