Each chair is handcrafted in Dorking, Surrey using mortice and tenon joints — the same technique used in quality furniture for centuries. Ash is a hard, resilient wood with a fine grain and light tone. It won’t warp, it won’t wobble, and it will look better as it ages.
Dimensions: 43cm deep × 33cm wide × 72cm high. Seat height suitable for children approximately aged 3–8 at a standard dining table.
The rear legs slope back and flare outward — a deliberate design choice that widens the base and keeps the chair stable.
