Nexus Junior Chair

Nexus Definition
noun
1. a connection linking two or more things
2. a central or focal point
The Nexus is a junior chair for the growing ones in your house, bridging the gap between high chair and and using a standard dining chair comfortably.
“The idea to create a junior chair came about from a couple of realisations. The first is that for a piece of furniture that feels rather temporary it can, in reality, be a fixture of your house for a rather long time. Junior chairs start to be useful around the age of 3 up to at least 8 years old. That’s 5 years minimum. Now if you have a couple of children it will get passed on to the next one, which means you might have a junior chair at your dining table for 8 to 10 years. So it’s a piece of furniture that you see very often for the best part of a decade so why not make it an attractive addition to your dining table!
The second realisation is that didn’t seem to be much choice on the market. There are numerous high chairs for those early years but not so much the next stage in life. My own experience is that having a junior chair nicely bridges the gap to a full sized chair, plus your children are always a focus of the house, hence naming the range Nexus.”
The Nexus is available in a range of hardwoods – walnut, oak, cherry or ash. That covers an assortment of of colour tones to complement your dining space. In addition the seat can be supplied in a different wood to the frame. This creates some further possibilities to tailor the look, e.g. a walnut frame with a lighter toned seat.
